Whistler is a Canadian resort town north of Vancouver, British Columbia. It has a permanent population of approximately 9,965, but more than two million people visit Whistler every year for its world-famous skiing and mountain biking at Whistler-Blackcomb. Whistler will be the site of a number of events of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
